What do I need to start the course?
Prospective students must meet the following criteria to enroll in the Dental Assisting Academy of Broward:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age
- Education: Must possess a valid High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- CPR Certification: Must hold an active Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
- Health and Safety: Must provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination series or submit a signed waiver acknowledging the risks of exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Must present a valid government-issued photo ID.
